The Tufts University Confocal Microscopy Facility is available for use by investigators on the Tufts Biomedical Campus as well as by the general scientific community. Use of the facility includes the services of the technical director in operating the instrument or in assisting with the performance of experiments. The following fee schedule is currently in place:
A $500 annual fee will be required of all regular users. regular access is defined as investigators requiring infrequent access to the system
Pilot study access can be obtained for a fee of $300 for investigators requiring preliminary data. Such sessions typically require 3 hours and include assistance in data collection, analysis and hardcopy output. If investigators continue their project, the $300 fee will be used towards the regular access fee and will be charged according to the hourly fee schedule given below.
